Assisted one of the largest cable telecommunications companies in Romania before Romanian courts in a series of more than twenty litigation cases initiated against the client by the Romanian Customers Protection Agency.
Represented a major wood processing company in a competition related litigation case and obtained the annulment of the fine in the amount of approximately EUR 1 million imposed by the Competition Council to the client for alleged abuse of a dominant position.
Represented leading company operating in the wood industry before the Bucharest Court of Appeals in a litigation case involving the tow largest players on the wood processing market; the firm’s litigators were successful in obtaining for the client the full recovery of the EUR 2.5 million damages arising from the seller’s warranty for hidden flaws of the sold product.
Represented the leader on the Romanian market of pharmaceuticals distributors in a competition related court case and successfully obtained a stay order for the fine in the amount of approximately EUR 13.5 million (the largest single fine ever imposed by the Romanian competition regulator) enforced against the client for creating an alleged price-fixing cartel on the insulin market.
Represented a major company acting on the steel manufacturing market, in relation to an alleged infringement of the competition rules concerning State aid matters, recently obtaining the annulment of the Competition Council's decision imposing the recovery of approximately EUR 1 million.
