Advised the municipality of a major city in Romania in connection with the tender process initiated for the opening and operation of a new local landfill at ecological standards, including preparing and analyzing the technical and financial conditions of the bidders by reference to the feasibility study and conditions stated in the project agreement, assisting the client in negotiations of the contractual terms with each of the investors, legal counseling to the municipality with respect to the offers’ risks and advantages.
Advised the representative of 20 thermal power plants in connection with a foreign syndicated loan amounting to EUR 75 million granted by an international Europe based bank, backed by state guarantees and destined to supply the 20 thermal plants with the fuel necessary for winter heating production, including drafting and reviewing the whole lending documentation, assisting the client throughout the negotiation process, drafting the documentation required for the notification with the Competition Council, as well as drafting of legal opinions on matters involving the lending terms and Competition Council clearance.
Advised the representative of 21 thermal power plants in connection with a foreign syndicated loan amounting to EUR 108 million granted by one of the world's leading financial service providers and a leading investment bank on the Greek and Balkan markets, including revising and drafting of the loan documentation, assisting the client within the negotiation process, drafting of legal opinion on the matter, carrying out of the notification procedure with the Competition Council.
