Assisted an office real estate project owner in two litigation cases filed against the Bucharest City Hall, claiming damages in the range of millions of EUR for alleged unpaid financial rights under a supposed private partnership agreement.
Assisted a key player on the national and international energy and energetic services market in relation with a series of public procurement procedures organized by important energy companies for the purpose of awarding specific services amounting for more than EUR 60 million each.
Voicu & Filipescu was appointed as the legal advisor and Daniel Costea was appointed as legal expert to provide assistance to the Romanian authorities in the field of motorways and national roads administration, including extended advice concerning Romanian concession and public acquisition legislation, tender procedures and compliance of performance based operation & maintenance contracts with the current regulation as regulatory matters.
Legal consultants providing assistance with domestic expertise in connection with the PPP Contract concluded with a major Austrian construction company for the Bucharest – Ploiesti section of the Bucharest – Brasov Motorway, including drafting, revising and negotiating with private partner the PPP contract for constructing as well as operating the motorway, legal advice to the Romanian State authorities concerning compliance of the PPP contracts with the Romanian PPP legislation. Signed contracts in 2004 and not implemented by the Government.
Legal consultants providing assistance with domestic expertise in connection with the PPP Contracts contracted with a construction company, part of the world’s leading integrated construction and concession group, for the Comarnic – Predeal section of the Bucharest – Brasov Motorway, including drafting, revising and negotiating with private partners the PPP contracts for constructing as well as operating the motorway, legal advice to the Romanian State authorities concerning the compliance of the PPP contracts with the PPP legislation. Signed contracts in 2004 and not implemented by the Government.
